Tad's Story - Part 3     The Choices I Made Led to Death

n charge of my direction.  Every week, I would work on one chapter, then on Sunday – guess what the pastor talked about.  Yes, you got it, EXACTLY what I was working on about myself.  This went on throughout the whole book with not one different subject from the book.

This book and my circumstances helped me to realize that being abandoned or rejected was not so devastating after all.  And God at the end of His program for me at that time gave me back my heart.  I’ve been protecting my heart so much with such a barrier up that I could not feel a thing.  I was given by Him the gift of taking a chance on getting hurt in order to experience love again.  At this point, I never became addicted again.

Crack might be one of the worst, but to anyone with any addiction, whether it’s food, pot alcohol (which is a drug), or anything else that you must do or idolize someone, or take part of – and you can’t honestly manage your life – it is serious!  You are addicted and are heading into dangerous and demonic territory, strife, and pain.  Only 1 out of 1000 serious crack addicts make it.  The rest are either dead, going to die or still out there.  It is the

lloneliest and humiliating life.  I remember several times when God had to have kept my heart beating when I should have been dead.

Fortunately now, I have chosen not to go there, and it has been a long time.  I don’t count the days or years, and I’m not incapable of doing it again, but I know it would be temporary.  I would just discover once again why I would not want to do it.  Praise the Lord.  I hope this has helped you out there.

Tad went through many trials even after dealing with recovery.  A new life began for him, and he was
put on an "advanced course" to catch up with the rest of the mature, strong Christian men.  This
includes dealing with pride, low self-esteem problems, getting centered in his beliefs, going through the longest school of ministry at his church (two years) - and graduated with only half of the class remaining.

Tad submitted to several Pastors, some still very close friends. Many persecutions have come from peers who were taught to judge and not love has strengthened Tad.  He is not afraid to confront anyone and tell it like it is, but he's kind about it.  He had to deal with his pride and still has to cope with it at times.  He's come a long way and is surrounded by people who love him and look out for him.

Tad knows one thing... God will continue what He started with this ministry, and no man will
stop it.  Over anything else, this one thing has become very obvious!  WARRIOR looks forward to reaching more people more than ever before.  WARRIOR has big dreams and God is going to fulfill them - just like He backed David!  Come watch and see....  and enjoy the music too!
